Here is my desk tonight. First the long shot, I like seeing my light box;).
Here are the two tiny trees in the light box. I love the new dark green one.
Here is a close up of my desk. I have been brainstorming about what I can put together with the lace glass gems I made. I made the two small dark red ones into magnets. I think I will make a few of them into pendants.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have the best Wednesday of all time.
great looking desk today! Love the trees and those lace magnets are awesome! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #41
ReplyDeleteI like both trees, they are amazing sculptures. Hope you are feeling well. Where's Luci today?
ReplyDeleteHugs, neet 29 xx (now following you)
The forest is growing I see from last week. Great colours. Francesca #61
ReplyDeleteYou have a great set-up for working your magic! The lace glass beads are beautiful. I took a class in fusion awhile back, bought the mircrowave kiln and a microwave to use specifically for it. They are sitting in the garage, never used again. I can't find supplies for a beginner. If you have any advice for a novice, it would be much appreciated!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are not disappointed Terri, but I actually found an adhesive that coats the lace and dries hard and clear like glass. The effect magnifies the lace and lets you see through it. If you are interested I can e-mail you the name of the adhesive and give you a few steps. The process just takes a little focus and patience. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words.
DeleteYour gem work is fabulous. I can't believe you are making those - gorgeous. The trees would make wonderful presents. Have a great week. xx Maggie #88

Wow! You make the beads?! The lacy ones are fab! Digging the trees too! Nan 122
ReplyDeleteThanks, for the lace ones I use a special adhesive that coats the lace and dries hard and clear like glass. The effect is cool because you can see through them and the lace is kind or magnified.
DeleteOh Frances I love your trees. Great beads. Thanks for sharing and happy crafting, hugs Erika. 96
ReplyDeleteLoving the trees. The lace pebbles are interesting. How will you make a bail for the pendants and attach it?
