My Favorite Movies of All Time-E.T.

I completed the posts listing my top 10 movies here and just felt there were too many great ones left unmentioned.  So I am going to post about My Favorite Movies of All Time.  I said it before and will say it again, I LOVE movies.  In the theater or at home, I love the thrill of a good story being played out.  My brother and I would walk a few miles in the Texas sun to get to the movies in the summer when we were kids.  It was worth every sweaty moment.

So I am going to highlight a favorite movie that I saw as a kid that left a huge impression:  E. T. The Extra-Terrestrial

For me E.T. is a modern classic.  I think about the movie every Halloween.  Were you that trusting as a child?  Would you do the same things Eliot does, would you take an alien into your home?

What would you think of a new E.T. movie with Eliot and Gertie as Adults?  I think it would be interesting to see what happened to the characters.

I love the movie and had a lot of fun seeing the pictures.  We have E.T. on disk, so I am going to ask the children to watch it with me later.

I hope your Saturday is off to a great start.

  1. E.T. was/is a great movie. I cried. Not sure I could be as brave as Eliot. Joe and I are movie junkies, too, and have over 700 movies in our collection. We quit buying them when we got our Roku and streaming Netflix. I'll have to pull out E.T. and watch it again. It's been years!
